Associate Networks

An Associate Network is a voluntary group of associates who come together to support each other and the Company’s diversity and inclusion strategy through professional development, education, networking and support of the Company’s market and community involvement initiatives.

These groups conduct educational programs and activities, community events, establish support and visibility for their identity group, serve as a business resource to the Company and promote career development. Associate Networks consider issues of common interest to the associate group exclusively in relation to working at Snyder’s-Lance, and share learning opportunities for those with different dimensions of diversity.

Being a member of an Associate Network can provide opportunities to network and share experiences with other associates. They offer professional development opportunities, provide a forum for interacting and communicating with members of other Associate Networks, serve as a conduit for information that can enhance performance and career development and support educational opportunities and community involvement. 

All Associate Networks are educational groups.  All Snyder’s-Lance associates are welcome to join the activities and meetings.

African American Network

Mission: To be a valued resource that supports African-Americans both personally and professionally while fostering diversity appreciation and awareness at Snyder’s-Lance. 

Goal: To bring a collection of programs, workshops, and training that will promote the success of African-Americans while achieving our overall corporate objectives. 


Women’s Network

Mission: To be a resource that supports the women of Snyder’s-Lance in their professional and individual development.

Goals:
• Champion inclusion
• Develop professional skills through education
• Foster communication and networking
• Promote community involvement
• Cultivate leadership competencies and values


Intergenerational Associate Network

Mission: To promote communication and knowledge among Snyder’s-Lance associates of all generations.

Goals:
• Promote teamwork and respect for each other
• Explore generational differences
• Dialogue on our generational approach to work-life issues
• Generational career motivations
