Safety

Our Commitment to Safety

Snyder’s-Lance is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all associates.  Our goal is to maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that we all employ safe work practices.  Maintaining a safe environment is a personal value we both share, and is a core value of our organization that supports making Snyder’s-Lance a great place to work.  It is our expectation that everyone in our Company will operate in a safe manner, and will encourage safe behaviors in others.

It is a fact that the most successful companies, whether measured by market share, financial performance, associate satisfaction or customer satisfaction, all are best in class in safety.  This is no coincidence.  Snyder’s-Lance safety programs are designed to ensure our work practices conform to the best practices in the industry, and we firmly believe the organization cannot meet our long term business goals if we are not among the best in class in safety.  Our programs are also tailored to ensure we comply with applicable governmental safety standards and regulations.  We will ensure we have the proper resources in place to support our safety goals.

Ultimately, the responsibility for safety belongs to each and every one of us.  As associates, we must fulfill this responsibility by performing our jobs in full compliance with safety procedures and practices. This overall effort will protect you, your co-workers, other members of the community and the environment in which we work and live.

Safety is a critical part of our formula for a successful business. Snyder’s-Lance will continue to maintain safety as a key organizational value so we can all achieve success and have a “Great Place to Work.”
